It is with great delight that I say wedding season has officially begun, and we are just about recovered from a massive jaunt up to sunny Scotland for two fabulous big days 🙂

The first I would like to blog about, is actually the second of the weddings we attended: Phil and Sam Nash.

Phil and Sam are good pals of mine from the uni days. We all met on the same course whilst studying up in Edinburgh, and I am happy to say that not only have they stayed and still reside in Edinburgh, but they also decided to have their wedding at The Royal Scots Club-right in the heart of the beautiful city, amongst all those amazing buildings and statues.

I was really excited about this wedding –  not only was day going to be full of big smiles, laughter and love – there would be Englishmen (North Englishmen at that) wearing kilts…the promise of comedy was never far away. If you have ever worn a kilt and not been Scottish, the laces for the shoes will bewilder even the most competent boy scout – it is impossible to keep them done up with our girly English calves.

Phil and Sam were drawn to the Royal Scots Club because if it s lovely gardens. We did, of course, take a few shots in and around the trees – which all look lovely, but truth be told, I couldn’t wait to get them out into the concrete wilderness of Scotland’s capital, and get some beautiful, different couple shots. And Neither Phil, Sam, nor the city disappointed!!

A lovely day – thanks so much for letting us be part of it guys!  Wishing you all the happiness in the future, and I expect a call when baby arrives – which I am sure will be sooner rather than later if Phil has anything to do with it!
